Warning, I’m fairly pissed off so bad language is undoubtedly going to ensue.

I’m a pretty fair-minded person. I always try to look at all sides of a story and know that nothing is black or white–rather all shades of grey.

Except things like this.

For the woman who dumped her new-born baby in a plastic bag at a rubbish dump in my hometown on Mother’s Day…I find it hard to think up an appropriate way I wish you would suffer–which is saying something since I have a very active imagination.

Here’s the thing…if you give birth to a baby you don’t want, plastic bags and rubbish dumps shouldn’t enter into your thought processes. I don’t care if you’re a young girl or unmarried. I don’t give two shits if you’re suffering from postnatal depression or if the baby is the result of some traumatic experience. I just don’t give a flying fuck what your reason may be. Tying a baby up in a garbage bag and hiding it in a rubbish dump is inexcusable!

If you don’t want your baby you have options. You walk to a hospital, clinic, police station, bloody post office or MF MacDonalds and leave the baby on the counter between the straw dispensers and the ketchup. You leave the baby where someone will find it…alive.

It’s truly a miracle that this baby was found by a homeless man rummaging through the rubbish dump before it suffocated in the plastic bag or simply took a few days to die.

Some days I think people just suck.

End of rant

OMG! I am so totally speechless. Well not really, but my words would be far more colorful than ‘I don’t give two shits’ so I shall refrain.

OMG. Wow. I’m so thankful the baby was found! Your fury is understandable. Wow.

  3. I feel exactly the same way, Heidi. Furious doesn’t even cover it.
